Changing Your Mind: From limited to limitless
(Mind Reformatting Exercises)
- Erase and Replace Exercise – Make a commitment to living much more mindfully. Observe more consciously, all that happens within and around you. Focus on your observations at a level of positive and negative. Note all the negative energy that comes from the mind and mouth of you and everyone around you. Edit out, or erase all the negatives and replace all forms of negative with positives. Every word you speak and every thought you think creates a matching chemistry! Your reality is your choice!
- Positivity and Repetition Exercise – Take 10 minutes per day to repeat a simple positive life mantra such as: “I am healthy, I am confident, I am happy.” Turn off your car radio and your cell phone during the drive to and from work each day. This will assure you at least the 10 minutes necessary. The latest neurplasticity research tells us that by taking this 10 minutes per day for 12 weeks you can develop the left prefrontal cortex (positive, confident mind) significantly. Your brain and biology do not know the difference between what you imagine and what you actually experience. That is why nightmares increase heart rate. Your brain takes your mind literally. Thus, your reality (including your physical health) is programmed by your brain and is based on what your mind dictates. Research tells us that your brain programs off of that which is most repeated in your thoughts.
- Tibetan Manifest Exercise – This 3,000 year old exercise comes from the John Perkins book entitled Shape Shifters. It was handed down to John from a European traveler who learned it from Tibetan sages. The sages told the traveler that “it will most assuredly make dreams manifest!” You begin by closing your eyes. Keep your eyes closed until completion of the exercise. Next, envision your intention. Now you envision the black void of space all around you. Next, picture a bright, shimmering silver star at a distance out in front of you. Project your intention through your third eye (between the eyebrows) out to the silver shimmering star where it will then be absorbed by that silver star. Once the star has absorbed your intention draw the silver star containing your intention into your mind through your third eye. Now imaging that the star filled with your intention explodes 3 times in succession within your mind. These explosions are growth explosions. They are expanding the power of your vision. Following these 3 growth explosions you are to direct the silver star containing your intention down into your heart. Once again imagine 3 more powerful dream growth explosions in your heart. Finally draw the silver star filled with your intention up and out of your third eye back out into the black void. Do this exercise at least twice per day and 3 times per week. Then just enjoy watching your dreams come true! Remember, your mind rules your brain, and your brain creates your reality!
The brain is made up of neurons that branch out into what are called neuronets. The extended branches of these neuronets are shaped by and comprised of 100 trillion synaptic gaps that produce thought, memory, and emotion. The branches grow as the result of belief and concept programming from mind to brain where relative reality is then established and reacted to accordingly. The subconscious mind produces a reality that is emotionally reactive and endlessly repetitious. It produces a form of thought addiction to the energy of crisis at a rate of up to 2,000 thought bits per second. Thus, models of life reality (norms, possibilities, probabilities, negatives, positives, chaos vs. order, and love vs. fear) are established here shaping our health, prosperity and life performance.
The hypothalamus constructs specific peptides (protein catalysts) to match specific corresponding emotions and thoughts where they are then released into the bloodstream to meet up with trillions of receptors. The peptides then position themselves within these receptors so that they can trigger cytokine communicators that attach our chemical reality programs to every cell in the body.
Thus, our cells receive chemical emotions and thoughts that cellular transmit reality from mind to body. Everything we've been programmed to believe continues to reinforce our personal reality at the material level. But how changeable is all of this? Is the fate that comes from such programming fixed or mutable? The latest neuroscience tells us that the neuronets can begin to change its response to altered belief in an instant.
The superconcious mind produces a reality of limitless possibilities and positive probabilities at a rate of up to 400 billion thought bits per second. The positive reality of super conscious programming may be readily accessed by a mere willingness to believe, regardless of the scope of the previous mind set. Researchers have observed that lifetime of programming can be reformatted in a matter of seconds. A great deal of research presently being done at Stanford continues to discover that belief precedes any and all previous programming. Thus, reality may be perception driven, but it remains ever changeable.
The fact that subliminal messages can convince us to purchase things we've programmed ourselves to believe we don't need tells us that the neuronets is ripe for sudden reality shifts. Those grandmothers that lift station wagons off of their grandchildren are a prime example of just how sudden pontentiating reality can change. Perhaps we might consider the possibility of manipulating the neuronets to prevent and, or heal disease, or to break addiction by programming ourselves to want what we already have?
